Mrs Atkinson from Cumbria, recently experienced a failure with the central heating in her cottage as her thermostat broke. Using her trusty Smartlite rechargeable torch to locate the override switch she accidentally slipped and dropped the torch on her slate floor. She told us 'I was amazed to pick the torch up and the only damage was a slight crack on the glass lens, it must be so robust as the bulbs both worked and I was still able to use it, a sound investment.'
